Wow, I haven't been here in YEARS... but I am happy that we had returned.
We've only visited for Dim Sum around 10am on a Sunday, and although there were a ton of people, we were seated right away.
Service was amazing, everyone was super friendly. Interior was neat and clean, and parking outside was abundant.
Dim Sum was actually quite yummy! I think I rather come here than Seafood Cove, since there are dishes that I've never had before. ALSO, they freaking have fried seaweed! I've only had this dish at one other restaurant (Ten Ten in Cerritos) which is now closed.
I enjoyed my experience here and would gladly come back. -

Holy crap this place took a DIVE. This used to be one of the top dim sum places in oc. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and there were like 6 tables. Typically the place is full of carts with delicious food, I spotted 4 carts and only 2 ladies working them. The lady with the shumai and chicken feet came over, I took a glance and it looked awful.
Against my better judgment we still ordered two orders of shumai and an order of chicken feet. Th shumai was OLD. it was hard and stale and had a seriously offputting taste and smell. The chicken feet was ehh as well. We paid and got the HELL out of there. It was horrendous. Luckily we didn't get sick. -

My mom moved to the OC for about a year now so driving to the 626 for dim sum isn't always the most convenient. Her neighbor recommended Seafood Palace as a closer option.
We arrived a little before 10:30am and was shocked to see that there was no wait and over half the tables were empty. With the other dim sum places I've been too, it's packed by 10:00am. As soon as we tried the food here, I knew why.
The food wasn't particularly bad but it wasn't good either. It definitely wasn't authentically Cantonese and I think it's because Westminster has such a large Vietnamese presence and the cooks / owners are probably Vietnamese. The shrimp dumpling wrapper was super thick and dry and the beef in the rice noodle roll has this strange, off putting seasoning in it.
Verdict: I'd rather trek the extra miles to LA county than eat here... Sorry but I'll pass! -

We decided to switch it up from our usual dim sum spot and try this location. We came early so were seated right away. Service was mediocre as expected and carts were hard to come by. We definitely had to chase and hunt down a few dishes. We ordered our usual.
Hits
Xiao long pao - juicy pork dumplings
Har gow - glutinous wrapped shrimp
Everything else was just OK. It was a rather far drive for us and likely wouldn't be back as it was nothing spectacular. -

My friend and I usually come here for dim sum. Its her place to go because its not overly packed and the food is good. The service can be shaky at times though but everything else is on point. Just make sure to come early.
They got pretty much everything when it comes to dim sum. If its not there, we usually ask and they can pretty much make it so that works out perfectly for us. The tables are ok and the overall decor is good. It is a big smaller than most of the dim sum spots, but its all good to me.
